Event Services Application Options Reminder

Treasury would like to remind business offices of the two different event services applications, Eventbrite and Lynx, and their specific uses to ensure the proper platform is used when planning events and accepting payments.

Please confirm that you are using the correct platform to manage events and that all funds are accounted for and tracked appropriately.

The University has a master service agreement with Eventbrite to support non-philanthropic events such as conferences, workshops, and graduation celebrations.

Within the application, Eventbrite provides event promotion, registration, payment collection, and reporting, including templates to assist individuals in setting up meeting registration sites.

The University of Arizona Foundation's service application for philanthropic events is a component of its constituent records management system known as Lynx. You may submit a Lynx Charitable Event Request through the UA Foundation Support Desk. If you are unable to access the Support Desk, please contact FSSupport@uafoundation.org.
