Accounts Payable has introduced a Single Use Account (SUA) Credit Card Program as an additional payment method
The program allows for a single or multi-use credit card with an exact amount to be issued directly to the vendor or provided to the purchaser to use via an online portal. A SUA credit card can accommodate multiple invoices from one vendor provided the amount is equal to the amount available on the card. Once the full amount on the card has been used, it is automatically decommissioned to help reduce fraudulent activity.
It is meant to be used for University-related purchases such as:
- Lodging for non-University employees on University business
- Conference registration
- Membership dues
- Foreign software licenses with/without tax withholding obligations
