Amazon Business has now been added to the Arizona BuyWays shop catalog located in UAccess Financials.
This new opportunity simplifies the purchasing process and allows departments to take advantage of Amazon's wide product selection and competitive prices.
Currently, the Amazon Business link is located under Suppliers at the top of the Shop Catalogs page, but a tile will be added to the homepage soon.
Orders made through Arizona BuyWays will be delivered to campus by the Central Receiving team and will be a part of the University's Amazon Business account, which provides business-specific benefits such as:
- Free two-day shipping on Prime-eligible items
- Access to millions of additional products, available only to Business customers
- Business-specific pricing, including quantity discounts on eligible items
- Access to a specialized Amazon Business Customer Service team
Departments will no longer need an individual Prime account if they choose to use Arizona BuyWays for their ordering and we encourage them to utilize this new opportunity. However, departments may still choose to order through and pay for their Amazon accounts, if they desire.
All users, new and returning, must add their University email address to their BuyWays profile. Amazon is the only vendor that requires this information to be in a user's profile and adding it is necessary before your first purchase.
Directions on how to add your email are in the Amazon Business Buyer Training, as well as additional information and registration steps for new users, those with existing Amazon accounts for business or personal purchases, and those with existing Amazon Business accounts.
Refund instructions for previously purchased Prime account subscriptions are also included in the resource.
